How Merchant's Favor Is Earned
Merchant's Favor is a new WoW Forever currency earned by filling Waylaid Crates with matching trade goods and turning them in to your faction's supply outpost - the Azeroth Commerce Authority for Alliance, Durotar Supply and Logistics for Horde. Each turn-in pays Favor plus a small amount of silver, and payouts scale with crate tier.
WoW Forever hasn't launched yet (November 4, 2026), so exact payout rates and material costs are still settling - beta testing showed crate materials priced low on the Auction House, but that's expected to shift once live-server demand hits. We track pricing after launch and adjust what a given order includes accordingly.
What You Can Spend Merchant's Favor On
- Profession recipes - confirmed for Blacksmithing, Enchanting, Alchemy, Leatherworking, Tailoring, Engineering and Cooking, reported from beta testing.
- Twink gear - stat-variant gear pieces sold directly by the faction vendors.
- Neck enchants - Forever adds neck-slot enchanting for the first time; a link to Merchant's Favor vendors is reported but not yet independently confirmed.
- Profession certifications - 1,000 Merchant's Favor each, unlocking an account-wide title (cosmetic unless your profession skill meets the requirement).
- A faction tabard - sold by the Alliance supply officer; Horde equivalent expected but unconfirmed.

Delivery Details and Requirements
- Start time: typically within 1 hour after purchase once servers are live.
- Completion time: depends on your leveling range and Favor amount. The ETA is shown in the calculator before you pay.
- Pausing: you can pause the order at any time to play your character yourself.
- Requirements: an active WoW Forever account and a character created on your chosen realm, or we can create one for you.
