WoW Legion Remix 2025: Artifact Weapons, Mounts & All Rewards Guide

What is Legion Remix?
Legion Remix is a special, limited-time event that lets you dive back into the Legion era with a fresh twist. Create a Timerunner, choose from the twelve original Legion classes, and speed through the expansion from level 10 to 80. Along the way, you’ll power up your character, face epic battles, and rack up tons of rewards—like transmogs, mounts, and pets to show off.

Legion Remix Phase Schedule
Legion Remix follows the same journey as the original Legion expansion, rolling out its story and raids in classic order — but at a faster pace and with all the Remix flair. Here’s how the timeline breaks down:
Skies of Fire – Kick things off with the core Legion content and the Emerald Nightmare raid. (Based on Patch 7.0 — Legion’s launch content.) October 7 – 21
Rise of the Nightfallen – Dive into the Karazhan mega-dungeon and tackle the Nighthold raid. (Patch 7.1.) October 21 – November 4
Legionfall – Head to the Broken Shore and face the Tomb of Sargeras. (Patch 7.2.) November 4 – 18
Argus Eternal – Journey to Argus and take on Antorus, the Burning Throne. (Patch 7.3.) November 18 – December 9
Infinite Echoes – The grand finale of Legion Remix, packed with extra rewards and surprises. December 9 – January 19, 2026

Each phase runs for two weeks—except the final one, which lasts a full month—making the entire event span 15 weeks of Legion nostalgia and loot-hunting.

Artifact Weapons
In Legion Remix, artifact weapons make a comeback with a new, easy-to-use talent system. All weapons share one big trait tree, but you can specialize in one of five themes: Nature, Fel, Arcane, Storm, or Holy. Each path gives your weapon a unique active ability that matches its power type. Best of all, you can swap paths anytime, so you’re free to experiment and find what fits your playstyle.

First Steps: Unlocking Your Artifact Shards

Before unlocking your artifact’s flashy abilities, you start with its initial traits. These are universal for all weapons and come as Arcanocrystal Shards, giving small but useful passive boosts.
Powerful Arcanocrystal Shard - raises your primary stat (Strength, Agility, or Intellect).
Fortified Arcanocrystal Shard - increases stamina to make you tougher in battle.
Expedient Arcanocrystal Shard - boosts movement speed for faster travel.
You’ll unlock all of these as you progress, laying a strong foundation for your artifact before diving into the big, exciting powers.

Major Traits: Unlocking Your Artifact’s Power
Beyond the minor Arcanocrystal Shards, each artifact has six major traits. One is your chosen active Artifact ability, while the other five are powerful passives tied to your path. These traits add real punch - from damage boosts to utility perks and new mechanics - giving your weapon its unique identity.
Every artifact ends up with the same number of major traits, so no class feels weaker. By the time you’ve unlocked all initial traits, you’ll have a solid boost to your stats and your first major ability, setting the stage for deeper customization.

How to Unlock Your First Artifact
You start your quest for an Artifact Weapon the moment you step into Dalaran as a Timerunner. The intro questline blends familiar zones with the Infinite Dragonflight’s chaos, teaching you new systems like Bronze currency and gear scrapping, while setting up the story. Here’s a quick walkthrough:

Time Crisis – Meet the bronze dragon Moratari as Dalaran faces a temporal siege. Help defend the city and close unstable portals.
Mean Streets of Dalaran / Seal and Protect / Thrift & Threadbare – Calm the city, reinforce wards, and gather magical resources called temporal threads for the Kirin Tor.
Infinite Bronze – Learn how defeating enemies and completing quests earns Bronze, which you can spend at the Infinite Bazaar.
Something Borrowed – Claim your first Artifact Weapon via an Infinite ritual. Unlock its first ability and see Remix Time in action.
Scavenger Hunting – Collect resources or defeat foes to attune and empower your artifact.
Obliterate, Then Iterate – Discover the Infinite Obliterum Forge, scrap gear for Bronze and Infinite Power, and unlock the Unraveling Sands portable scrapper.
Get Plenty of Exorcise – Test your new artifact in the Broken Isles, gather more Infinite Power, and preview the Heroic world tier.
As a Matter of Artifact – Spend your first Infinite Power at the Artifact Forge to unlock initial traits and start progression.
Not A Memento Too Soon / Storm the Citadel – Defend against an Infinite assault and collect your first Fragmented Memento.
Eternal Gratitude / Infinite Meetings – Explore the Infinite Bazaar: vendors, Infinite Research dailies, scrapper NPCs, and difficulty toggles.
A Fixed Point in Time – Unlock Skyriding and open the world. Legion zones now scale to you, letting you continue adventures through the Broken Isles.

By the end of A Fixed Point in Time, you’ve claimed your first Artifact Weapon and set the timeline on course. As you level through Legion Remix, you’ll keep empowering your artifact, collecting Epoch Mementos, increasing Infinite Knowledge, and unlocking new traits.
