In Season of Discovery, crates dropped from ordinary enemies while you leveled, and some were labeled with a specific trade good. Forever may work similarly, but that is not confirmed. One creator who played the demo reports that chests are the most reliable source of better crates, and that filling a crate with the goods listed on it turns it into a more valuable shipment. Classic players could never enchant the neck slot. Forever changes that: Enchanters can now permanently enchant necklaces with bonuses such as Strength, Agility, Spell Power, Healing Power or Deflection.
The demo report links neck enchants to Merchant's Favor vendors, but that connection has not been independently verified. Check the vendor lists once they are public before planning around it.
Enchanting has other new content too. At skill 300, Enchanters can earn a profession certification that permanently unlocks an account-wide title. Professions overall gain more than 600 new recipes, so Merchant's Favor is one of several ways to unlock them.

Forever's Legacy system adds account-wide talent trees that you earn by completing challenges. Each character can spend 16 Legacy points at launch, and around 65 can be earned in total.

- Keep bag space. Crates may stack or carry goods while you level.

- Save some gold. Recipes cost Merchant's Favor, but you may still need gold for materials.
